Indoor soccer is a smaller, indoor version of the game of football. It’s played in an enclosed court and is played with five members per team, inclusive of a goalkeeper. The aim is to score as many goals as possible against the opposing team using quick thinking and speedy movements.
The court is required, as well as a football and appropriate shoes, shin guards and clothing.
Being physically fit is essential to keep up with the game of indoor soccer. Reflexes need to be sharp and players need to be able to pass and receive the ball quickly and deftly. It’s a team sport that requires players to have a keen understanding of their teammates.
The tight playing conditions don’t allow for players to be selfish. Playing as a complete unit is essential as is clear communication between all players.
