Tennis has been around since the 1890s and is still as popular now as it was back then. It can be played with one opponent against the other or in doubles games with two against two. Each player has their own racquet and has to hit the ball over the net of a tennis court in such a way as to get their opponent to miss the ball from their side.

Tennis requires that players be physically fit and quick on their feet. A certain deal of upper body strength is required for control of the ball and in order to hit it to the other side of the court repeatedly. Technique is required in the way the ball is hit. Players can improve on their game by playing against a variety of different players who will challenge them in different ways. Staying fit by running, going to the gym or maintaining a high level of sports conditioning will also help.
Mental strength and stamina is definitely required for a tennis player to excel. It’s a challenging game that requires a lot of physical stamina too.
